Is this a real psychological test?

It's built on the two-dimension model of adult attachment (anxiety and avoidance) from decades of research. The statements are our own, written in that tradition; they aren't copied from any published instrument. We don't diagnose, we measure. The behavioral layer (hesitation, revision) is our own addition.

What if I land between two types?

Then we say so. If your scores sit near a boundary, your result names both ("Secure, leaning Anxious"). We never silently round you into a box.

What data do you collect?

Your answers, timestamps, time spent per question, and any revisions. No name, email, or account is required for the free snapshot. If you unlock a paid report, we store the minimum needed to deliver it.

How long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Around 8 minutes for most people. 24 questions, one at a time. There's no time pressure. In fact, how long you take is part of what we measure.

What if I disagree with my result?

There's a "Disagree with your result?" link on every result page. Tell us what felt off and you get a free retake after 48 hours. Your feedback genuinely calibrates the test.
